Nigeria Movie Superstar RMD Backs Arsenal To Surprise Critics In Liverpool Clash
Published: November 02, 2018
Nigeria movie star Richard Mofe Damijo believes Arsenal will have a good game on Saturday evening against Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium and possibly come unscathed despite the firepower of the Reds.
The Gunners' winning streak was halted last weekend at the Selhurst Park by Crystal Palace who held Unai Emery's team to a 2-2 draw albeit the team are still unbeaten in thirteen matches in all competitions.
Damijo, a die hard Arsenal supporter, spoke exclusively to allnigeriasoccer.com on Friday evening on his expectations from the contest.
"We (Arsenal) will lose with dignity against Liverpool or surprise the hell out of everyone on Saturday.
"Liverpool are apparently most people's favourites to win but perhaps if Arsenal play as good as they were against Leicester they will get the three points.
"Arsenal will almost certainly win the other teams but they need to win the big ones. Injuries to some key players seem to be the problem now but I am happy with the work the new coach is doing.
"It's Liverpool so you will naturally expect a difficult match but the new coach, Unai Emery has surpassed all my expectations," RMD affirmed.
The match kicks off 6.30pm Nigerian time.
