Chelsea Loanee Aina Left Out Of Super Eagles Match Day Squad; Success, Ajayi, Henry On The Bench

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Chelsea loanee Ola Aina has been left out of the Super Eagles match day squad by manager Gernot Rohr.

The German has opted to name Lokomotiv Moscow's Brian Idowu on the bench to provide cover for the two wing-backs in the starting line-up, Samuel Kalu and Jamilu Collins.

A goalkeeper, two defenders, one midfielder, two wingers and one striker have been named on the bench.

Everton loanee Henry Onyekuru has been passed fit to start on the bench along with Watford's Isaac Success.

As expected, Theophilus Afelokhai will presumably watch the game from the stands as Daniel Akpeyi has been included in the 18 ahead of the Enyimba netminder.

Former Arsenal U23 captain Semi Ajayi who is comfortable playing as a central defender and defensive midfielder, Samuel Chukwueze and Mikel Agu complete the players on the bench.

Adeleye Aniyikaye, Victor Osimhen and Moses Simon will play no part against South Africa after they were omitted from the match day squad.
