AWCON: Nigeria Coach Seeks Improvement Despite Big Win Vs Zambia
Thomas Dennerby, the Swedish coach of the Super Falcons, is still seeking improvements in his side despite getting their Africa Women Cup of Nations campaign back on track with a 4-0 rout of Zambia on match day two.

After losing their opening match 1-0 to South Africa on Sunday, the defending champions responded by winning in a convincing manner, with Desire Oparanozie, Ordega, substitutes Rasheedat Ajibade and Amarachi Okoronkwo getting on the scoresheet.

With ex-Arsenal striker Asisat Oshoala missing a plethora of chances to add to the tally, Dennerby admitted post-match that they were not clinical enough.

''First of all, I am very happy we managed to score four goals in this game but honestly I am not 100 per cent happy with our performance because we should have scored more goals,'' Dennerby stated.

''After our opening game in which we lost, I talked about being professional and using experience to come back in the next game, not being anxious and work on hard.

''I don't think this game we won today is the defining game in the group and now we have to work harder in our next fixture so we secure a place in the semi-finals. So we stay cool and keep working. Of course I am happier than three days ago.''

Nigeria will wrap up group play on Saturday against Equatorial Guinea at Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
