Published: November 22, 2018The injury suffered by Chelsea loanee Ola Aina while on international duty last week will not keep him on the sidelines for a long period, according to Torino.
The Maroons announced via their official website on Thursday evening that the Super Eagles fullback did not take part in the two training sessions held at Filadelfia today.
Aina, who is receiving treatment, has been diagnosed with a retrocalcaneal inflammation to the right foot that will require a few days of rest.
The defender has four more days to fully recover before Torino's visit to Cagliari on Monday, November 26th.
The leadership of Torino is absolutely convinced about the qualities of the young Nigerian and has set the wheels in motion to sign him on a permanent basis before the end of the season.
In the last fixture before the international break, Aina played the entirety of Torino's 2-1 loss to Parma.
