Will Ebuehi Be Ready For AFCONQ Vs Seychelles? Update On Benfica Fullback
Benfica fullback Tyronne Ebuehi's treatment is going according to plan ahead of the Super Eagles final 2019 Africa Cup of Nations against Seychelles in March 2019.

Ex-Feyenoord midfielder Wessel Weezenberg, who handles the affairs of Ebuehi, has provided an update on the former ADO Den Haag star but has refused to put a timeframe on his recovery.

Ebuehi has not played a competitive game for club and country since June after suffering a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of the left knee in pre-season.

Nigeria manager Gernot Rohr has claimed that he has sent one of his fitness coaches to work with Ebuehi, which is an indication that the defender is in his plans for the Africa Cup of Nations.

''We can't tell his expected return date, he is recovering well but it's not possible to predict. He is training in Portugal, of course,'' Weezenberg told allnigeriasoccer.com.

Born in the Netherlands, Ebuehi became cap-tied to Nigeria for life after replacing Brian Idowu at half-time in the Super Eagles 2-0 win vs Iceland at the 2018 World Cup.
