Ndidi Is Top Tackler In Premier League Week 14 Ahead Of Man Utd, Spurs, Liverpool, Chelsea Stars
Published: December 03, 2018Wilfred Ndidi has received the accolade of being the top tackler in the English Premier League for the last round of matches.
The Leicester City number 25 completed the most tackles of all the players involved in Premier League matches for week fourteen, eight in total to rank first.
Of the clubs in the top seven, Manchester United's Ander Herrera (7), Spurs' Juan Foyth (7), Liverpool's Fabinho (6), Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (5), Chelsea's César Azpilicueta (4) and Everton's Bernard (3) won the most tackles for their respective teams.
With a rating of 8.10, Ndidi shone in the Foxes 2-0 win against Watford and narrowly missed out on the Man of the Match award, with Ricardo Pereira beating him to the prize with an 8.77 rating, according to data from Whoscored.
Ricardo Pereira was the player with the most clearances in the last round, fifteen, ten more than the Nigeria international.
In other categories, Wilfried Zaha had the most shots, Nicolás Otamendi most passes, Andros Townsend most key passes, Raheem Sterling most dribbles, Etienne Capoue most interceptions, Shane Duffy most aerial duels won and goalkeeper Joe Hart most saves.
