Super Eagles Fans Will Be Worried About The Latest Update From Denmark Coach On Huddersfield's Billing
Published: December 03, 2018
Denmark coach åge Hareide has strongly hinted that Huddersfield Town star Philip Billing is in line to be called up to the senior team for the European Championship qualifier against Switzerland in March 2019.
Barring an injury, the central midfielder was in line to represent the Scandinavians at the U21 Euro in June 2019, however, Hareide has stated that he will not take into consideration the U21 national team's preparations for the tournament in Italy and San Marino when he announces his roster.
It means the top stars in the Danish U21 team such as Jacob Bruun Larsen (Borussia Dortmund), Robert Skov (FC Copenhagen) and Billing are in line to make the senior debuts against the Swiss.
''From now on we will play with the players who are the best at all times and, as we think, can be crucial to Denmark,''
åge Hareide was quoted as saying by bold.dk.

"Both Jacob Bruun Larsen, Philip Billing and Robert Skov have been on our list all the way, and we have followed them closely.
''It is important for us to qualify. We will of course use the best players.''
Billing helped the Danish qualify for the U21 Euro, scoring one goal in seven qualifying matches.
