Players like Nwankwo Kanu, Wilson Oruma, Chrisantus Macauley, Kelechi Nwakali, kelechi Iheanacho, and Samuel Chukwueze all featured for Nigeria U17 team at some point in their respective careers.

Judging by their performance during U17 World Cup tournament and what they achieved after the cadet Championship, allnigeriasoccer.com has come up with the best four all-time Golden Eaglets players.

Kanu Nwankwo

The former Arsenal star is right at the top of the list as result of his exploits for the country during his active days.

Kanu, 42, was part of 1993 U17 team who defeated Ghana in the final to win the World Cup for the second time in Nigeria's history. He scored five goals from six games and he was rated as one of the tournament's best players.

He went on to achieve great success with Ajax, Inter Milan, Arsenal and Portsmouth as he won at least one trophy with each club.

Wilson Oruma

The former Marseille playmaker was the star of the 1993 U17 World Cup. He scored six goals to win the tournament's top scorer's award.

Though he didn't achieve as much success as expected by fans after the tournament, Oruma went on to win three major trophies with Ligue 1 sides including Guingamp, Lens and  Sochaux

Kelechi Iheanacho

The Leicester City man occupies the third position on the list following his breathtaking performances for Nigeria's U17 team during 2013 edition of the tournament.

He was voted the best player of the competition having scored six goals and seven assists.

He signed up with Manchester City where he had the best goals-per-minute ratio of any player in Europe's top leagues in the 2015-16 season.

Victor Osimhen

Though it looks too early for the youngster to be on the list, Osimhen's record-breaking display in Chile can't be overlooked.

The 20-year-old is the all-time highest goalscorer in the competition history making him one of the deadliest U17 players the country has ever seen.

He currently plays for Sporting Charleroi in Belgium but he's expected to return back to his parent club Wolfsburg by the end of the season.
