How players of Nigerian descent fared for their respective nations in 2019 European U17 Championship matches that took place on Tuesday, May 6.
World champions England are on the brink of being eliminated from the competition after they were thrashed 5-2 by the Netherlands.
The Young Lions face Sweden in their final game on Thursday needing to win and France to lose heavily to Netherlands.
Arsenal starlet Miguel Azeez started and went the distance for the second game in a row, while PSV's Nonso Madueke was an unused substitute.
The central midfielder provided the assist for the Young Lions opening goal in the fifth minute and came close to scoring an equaliser in the 52nd minute but his long range free-kick hit the base of the post.
In a Group A match at the Waterford Regional Sports Centre, Norwich City defender Andrew Omobamidele snatched a late point for Republic of Ireland as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Czech Republic.
Omobamidele blasted in from close range in the 88th minute to cancel out Sejk's 63rd minute goal.
Man City's Gavin Bazunu was in goal for Republic of Ireland and put in a full shift along with Omobamidele.
Derby County's Festy Ebosele was sent off in controversial circumstances in the 94th minute, while Southampton's Roland Idowu and Timi Sobowale were non-playing substitutes.
