Confirmed : England U20 World Cup-Winning Midfielder Onomah Returns To Tottenham
English Football League clubs have started announcing their retained and released lists following the conclusion of the 2018-2019 regular season.

Championship side Sheffield Wednesday inform through their official website that England U20 World Cup-winning midfielder Josh Onomah is among the four loanees returning to their parent clubs, the others being Rolando Aarons, Michael Hector and Achraf Lazaar.

Onomah joined The Owls on a season-long loan in August 2018 and appeared in 15 official matches for the club, logging 904 minutes.

He struggled with injuries for most part of the campaign and had to return to Tottenham Hotspur in January to receive treatment.

The 22-year-old made his first team debut for the North London club in an FA Cup third round replay against Burnley on January 14, 2015 and has racked up 32 appearances in all competitions.

Onomah enjoyed a successful loan spell at Aston Villa during the 2017-2018 campaign.
