Nigeria U20 Camp News: Ozornwafor Lands In Turkey; Yakubu Training Strikers

Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Flying Eagles star Valentine Ozorwafor has flown to Istanbul for transfer talks with Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray.

The 19-year-old was one of the three players that impressed in the Nigeria U20s 2-1 loss to Saudi Arabia in an international friendly on Sunday evening.

Upon the team's arrival in Munich on Monday, Ozornwafor was dropped off at the airport and connected another flight to Turkey.

Galatasaray are aware that the central defender's valuation could increase after the 2019 World Cup and want to get the deal over the line before the Flying Eagles trip to Poland.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria U20s resumed training on Tuesday morning, starting from 0900 hours, ahead of their next preparatory game against the youth team of TSG Hoffenheim.

Former Marseille star Wilson Oruma attended the workout along with ex-Everton star Yakubu Aiyegbeni, who has volunteered himself to train the Flying Eagles strikers.
