Official : Cambridge United Make Contract Decisions On Three Nigerian Players
Published: May 07, 2019Irish-born Nigerian attacking midfielder, Emmanuel Osadebe will move on to pastures new in the summer transfer window, with League Two club Cambridge United officially announcing that they have parted company with him.
The 22-year-old will be out of contract after the expiry of his current contract and has been released alongside David Forde and Jake Carroll.
Osadebe joined Cambridge United on a two-year deal in the summer of 2017 and is credited with 23 appearances for the club, scoring one goal.
Prior to his move to United, he represented Gillingham and the youth teams of Tottenham Hotspur and Dundalk.
Cambridge United have also informed that experienced striker Jabo Ibehre has triggered an extension based on appearances meaning he is under contract for the 2019-2020 season.
Former Liverpool Academy star David Amoo has been offered a new contract and discussions are ongoing.
