Official : Arsenal Product Aneke Offered New Deal By MK Dons; Sorinola Goes Pro; Ex-Nigeria U15 Invitee Kasumu Retained
Published: May 17, 2019Newly promoted EFL League One club Milton Keynes Dons have announced their retained and released list ahead of the start of pre-season training.
Arsenal product Chuks Aneke has been offered a new deal by MK Dons and would walk away from the club as a free agent on July 1 if both parties don't reach an agreement.
The former England U17 star enjoyed loan spells at Stevenage, Preston North End and Crewe Alexandra during his time with Arsenal before joining MK Dons on a permanent deal in August 2016.
Aneke was one of the top scorers in the division in the just concluded season, scoring 17 goals in 38 matches.
On the same subject, former Nigeria U15 invitee David Kasumu is among the 16 MK Dons players contracted for the 2019-2020 season.
The 19-year-old midfielder featured in three matches for the first team in the 2018-2019 campaign.
Finally, Matthew Sorinola, who is a defender, has been offered his first professional contract by The Dons.
