Bournemouth, Crystal Palace Join Southampton In Race For Everton Winger Of Nigerian Descent
Published: May 20, 2019
Everton starlet of Nigerian parentage, Ademola Lookman has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Bournemouth.
Bournemouth Echo making reference to Independent UK has reported that The Cherries are 'monitoring the situation' regarding the availability of Lookman.
The England U20 World Cup-winning winger saw first team opportunities limited in the 2018-2019 campaign, making only three starts in the Premier League but this has not prevented Premier League clubs from showing an interest in the promising 21-year-old.
According to The Daily Mail, Lookman is also on the shopping list of Crystal Palace, Southampton and Bundesliga outfit Red Bull Leipzig.
The former Charlton Athletic wonderkid, who has two years left on his contract with Everton, is valued in the region of 20 million pounds.
Lookman, who is being courted by the Nigeria Football Federation to play for the Super Eagles, is in contention to represent England next month at the European U21 Championship.
