Besiktas Slap In Bid For Nigeria U23 Captain Okechukwu
Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas have made an offer of 1.25 million euros to sign Nigeria international Azubuike Okechukwu, according to reports.

Turkish newspaper Ajansspor claims the central midfielder has agreed personal terms with the Istanbul club and it has been suggested by former Besiktas winger Okan Koc that the deal is good as done.

The transfer fee would be paid in four installments : €100,000, €150,000 and then €500,000 each.

Okechukwu left Pyramids of Egypt for Caykur Rizespor in the January transfer window and played a key role as the club avoided relegation, making 14 appearances and scoring one goal.

He was linked with a move to Besiktas and Galatasaray before his switch to Pyramids in 2018.

The 22-year-old started his career in his homeland with Niger Tornadoes before shifting to Bayelsa United, from where he was snapped up by Yeni Malatyaspor in 2015.
