Musa, Onyekuru, Shehu Ruled Out Of Super Eagles Friendly Against Senegal; Balogun Doubtful
Allnigeriasoccer.com can confirm that three Super Eagles stars will play no part in the pre-Africa Cup of Nations friendly against the top ranked African nation, Senegal on Sunday, June 16 as a result of illness.

The high profile absentee is assistant captain Ahmed Musa, and the Al-Nassr striker is joined in the treatment room by Everton winger Henry Onyekuru and Bursaspor's Abdullahi Shehu.

It means manager Gernot Rohr has at least 16 outfield players available for selection for the final friendly before their first competitive match in Egypt.

The German tactician is also sweating over the fitness of Brighton & Hove defender Leon Balogun, who developed fever today.

A bit of good news is Oghenekaro Etebo and Chidozie Awaziem have returned to full training after recovering from illness caused by a change of environment.

The Nigeria vs Senegal friendly will be played behind closed doors in order to enable both coaches to tinker with tactics and strategy during the encounter.

The friendly will kickoff at 1800 hours Nigerian time in Ismailia, where the Super Eagles have been camping since Monday.
