Rohr On Super Eagles AFCON Chances : 'Everyone In Nigeria Is Waiting For The Trophy'

Coach Gernot Rohr has stated that fans expect the Super Eagles to win their fourth Africa Cup of Nations title in Egypt.
Nigeria are making their return to the Africa Cup of Nations having failed to qualify for the previous two editions held in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.
Rohr has taken a young squad to this summer's tournament, naming eleven players under the age of 24 on the roster, while captain Obi Mikel, Kenneth Omeruo and Ahmed Musa are the more experienced players.
"Nigeria have a mix of experience and young players who have the will and determination to achieve the goals of the technical staff and the aspirations of the Nigerian public,'' Rohr said in a press statement published by filgoal.com.

The Super Eagles held their first training session at the football pitch of the Arab
Academy For Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, Alexandria on Tuesday evening., ahead of their opening game against Burundi.
They beat Egypt 1-0, drew goalless against Uganda and lost 1-0 to Senegal in their three preparatory games.
