Super Eagles Update : Kalu Has A History Of Heart Irregularities ; Collins Undergoes Light Training, Shehu Not Involved
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that it is all but confirmed that Samuel Kalu will not make his Africa Cup of Nations debut when the Super Eagles tackle the Syli Stars on Wednesday, June 26.

The Bordeaux winger did not participate in training with the rest of his teammates in Monday's workout which just ended.

Kalu could not play against Burundi on Saturday after he collapsed in training on Friday evening and the Nigerian Federation has denied reports he suffered a heart attack but there is more to the story.

For the first time ever, it can be revealed that the Golden Boot Soccer Academy product has a history of heart irregularities and it was first discovered when he was undergoing a medical with his first European club AS Trencin.

Bursaspor defender Abdullahi Shehu is also set to miss out as he was not involved in today's workout after sustaining a hamstring injury on Saturday.

German based left-back Jamilu Collins did not train fully with the squad and only underwent light training.
