Published: June 26, 2019
The Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Syli Stars of Guinea tackle each other in their second AFCON Group B clash on Wednesday.
Gernot Rohr's men narrowly defeated the Swallows of Burundi on Saturday to be at the summit of the group.
Guinea, at the other hand were held to a 2-2 draw by Madagascar last weekend and they will rely on their key players to help them get past Nigeria's challenge.
Liverpool's Naby Keita and former Watford striker Odion Ighalo are among the top five players to watch in today's encounter but who are the other key players to watch out for during the game? Allnigeriasoccer.com provides the best answer below:
Odion Ighalo
He was surprisingly dropped from Nigeria's starting lineup against Burundi but he made his presence felt when he came on for Paul Onuachu to score the only goal of the game.
His display against the Swallows will surely win him a place in the first XI tomorrow and all eyes will be on him as one of the tournament's deadly strikers.
Wilfred Ndidi
Though he wasn't in his best form on Saturday, the Leicester City man was able to win the man of the match award.
He is expected to up his game against Paul Put's team as he is one of the stars to monitor throughout the tournament.
Naby Keita
The Liverpool midfielder carries the Guineans hope of progressing to the next round of the competition and he can't afford to disappoint against Nigeria.
He didn't really live up to his billing in their first game and he will be hoping to return to the player he was throughout last season.
Samuel Chukwueze
The Villarreal youngster dazzled in Nigeria's opening game on Saturday. He is no doubt one of the Super Eagles players who will be intensely marked by the Guineans.
Sory Kaba
He was one of the goalscorers in their 2-2 draw against Madagascar and he will hope to continue his goalscoring form on Wednesday.
The relatively unknown striker has pace and great shooting prowess and he's capable of finding the back of the net from any position in the final third of the pitch.
