Iwobi Beats Mikel To Playmaking Position; Omeruo, Aina Start As Rohr Announces Starting XI Vs Guinea

starting line-up for their Africa Cup of Nations Group B match against
Guinea at the Alexandria Stadium, Alexandria, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
The
former Bayern Munich defender suggested that he will start with Daniel
Akpeyi in goal at yesterday's pre-match press conference and he has kept
his word, with the Kaizer Chiefs star picked over Ikechukwu Ezenwa.
The
defence consists of Kenneth Omeruo, Leon Balogun, Ola Aina and Chidozie
Awaziem, with the Torino and Porto players occupying the left and right
back positions respectively.
Rohr has
gone with Wilfred Ndidi, Oghenekaro Etebo and Alex Iwobi in midfield,
meaning captain John Obi Mikel drops to the bench.
Odion Ighalo has edged Paul Onuachu to the number nine role and the former Watford man is flanked by Ahmed Musa and Moses Simon.
