Arsenal's Iwobi Chooses Between Lionel Messi And Cristiano Ronaldo
Published: July 03, 2019
The Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo debate has been brought back by the Super Eagles Media team who asked Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi to choose the better player in a series of quick-fire questions.
The Barcelona superstar and Juventus striker have won five Ballon d’Or awards each and have reached the 600-goal milestone in their respective careers.
John Obi Mikel was recently asked to choose between Messi and Ronaldo and he went for the Argentina captain, and Iwobi is on the same page as the Super Eagles captain.
The Hale End Academy product faced Messi in the round of 16 of the Champions League in 2016 and was in the Nigeria side that lost 2-1 to Argentina at the 2018 World Cup.
Iwobi replied : ''Difficult but for me Messi''.
Though Iwobi was born in Nigeria's former capital, he chose London over Lagos; picked Wizkid as the better musician than Davido and prefers winning the World Cup over the Champions League.
The Super Eagles number 18 chose trophy over money, picked casual over corporate wears and prefers Arsenal to Chelsea.
