Confirmed : Nigerian-Born Winger Pens New Deal With Everton
Published: July 06, 2019
Lagos-born winger Korede Adedoyin has inked a new deal with Premier League side Everton, bringing an end to speculation surrounding his future.
The Toffees informed via their official website Saturday that the 18-year-old has signed his first professional contract for Everton.
Adedoyin was offered a new deal at the end of last season after helping Everton finish third in the U18 Premier League, scoring 11 goals in 17 matches.
In his first words after penning the new contract, he said : ''I’m so happy to sign this contract. I am very grateful to all the Academy coaches who have helped me become who I am today.
''The likes of Sean Lundon, Paul Tait and Keith Southern have been fantastic for me.
''Everton has helped me a lot not just on the pitch, but off the pitch, too.
''Now I just want to repay the belief they have shown in me, work as hard as I can and continue to progress.''
