Bournemouth Coach Howe Running The Rule Over Nigeria U20 Star In Barcelona
Flying Eagles midfielder Nnamdi Ofoborh will fancy his chances of finally making his competitive debut for Bournemouth in the new season.

The highly-rated youngster has traveled with the first team to Spain for pre-season training and was spotted training at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys on Friday ahead of the Cherries friendly against Girona this evening.

Last season, Ofoborh was included in the match day squad on five occasions but was a non-playing substitute against Fulham and Spurs in the Premier League, and MK Dons, Blackburn Rovers and Norwich City in the League Cup.

He was named in the starting line-up as Bournemouth beat AFC Wimbledon 3-2 in their first pre-season friendly on July 16 and manager Eddie Howe might assess him again against the Spanish opponents on Saturday.

Ofoborh was a late inclusion in the Flying Eagles squad to the 2019 FIFA U20 World Cup and featured in three matches, helping the Paul Aigbogun-led side qualify for the last sixteen.

Nigeria-eligible duo Dominic Solanke and Jordon Ibe also traveled to Barcelona with Bournemouth's first team.
