The 60 Most Promising U20 Players In The World : One Nigerian Player Chosen
Celebrated Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport has unveiled its list of the sixty most promising U20 players in the world and one Nigerian player made the cut.

Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze has been included on the list of young players in sparkling form at the moment.

Rhian Brewster (Liverpool), Ethan Ampadu, Mason Mount, Callum Hudson-Odoi (Chelsea), Jean-Clair Todibo (Barcelona), Tahith Chong (Manchester United), Reiss Nelson, and Mattéo Guendouzi (Arsenal) have all made the prestigious list.

When Chukwueze joined Villarreal from Diamond Academy in the summer of 2017, few people expected the winger to break into the first team so soon.

However, the youngster debuted in La Liga, Europa League and Copa del Rey, making 38 appearances in all competitions including 26 starts last season.

Chukwueze ended the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations strongly, starting the last three matches played by the national team and scoring his maiden international goal in a 2-1 win against South Africa.
