A round-up of Nigerian players that were in action for their respective clubs in the English Premier League on Saturday, August 10.

Nigerian players with dual nationalities and have played competitively for the senior national teams of other countries have been omitted.

At the Vitality Stadium, Denmark U21 international Philip Billing made his full debut for Bournemouth as they were held to a 1-1 draw by newcomers Sheffield United.

Chris Mepham slammed in the loose ball in the 62nd minute to open the scoring, only for Billy Sharp to equalise with a scrambled finish two minutes from time.

Billing came close to scoring with a long-range drive but it was saved by the goalkeeper in the 58th minute.

The number 29 went the distance, Dominic Solanke was introduced in the 90th minute, Jordon Ibe watched proceedings from the bench and Flying Eagles star Nnamdi Ofoborh was not in the squad.
