Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori has been named the top interceptor in the English Premier League for matchday five, according to Whoscored.

The Blues Academy product racked up eight interceptions against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday to rank first.

Three players finished with five interceptions in the last round of matches including Totteham Hotspur defender Serge Aurier, Norwich City's Sam Byram and Aston Villa's Frederic Guilbert.

In other categories, Watford star Gerard Deulofeu ranked first for both shots (7) and key passes (8) this week, Sofiane Boufal was the top dribbler with ten, while Isaac Hayden and Sam Byram had the most tackles (8) and clearances (11) respectively.

Liverpool's Joel Matip won the most aerial duels (12), Virgil van Dijk most accurate passes (120) and Arsenal's Leno the most saves(8).

Tomori made his third appearance in the Premier League against Wolves and opened his goalscoring account in the 31st minute.
