'He Has Quality And Speed' - Valencia's Diakhaby Wary Of Lille Danger Man Osimhen

Valencia defender Mouctar Diakhaby faced the cameras ahead of Wednesday evening's Champions League match against Lille and one of the subjects he touched on was the form of Victor Osimhen.

Just over two months after the start of the 2019-2020 season, the Nigeria national-teamer has scored 7 goals in the Ligue 1 and one more in the Champions League which he netted against Chelsea on matchday two.

Asked what he expects from Osimhen in today's game, Diakhaby told reporters at the pre-match press conference : ''I have watched Lille's matches and I have friends on the team.

''He is a great player. He has quality and speed. We have to defend well, but Lille also has other great players that must also be watched''.

Lille are without a point after two matches in Group H of the Champions League following losses to Ajax Amsterdam and Chelsea while Valencia have three points.

Osimhen has been an ever-present in Lille's starting line-up in the Champions League so far this season and is set to make his third start against Los Ches.
