'Olayinka Was The Best Player On The Pitch' - Barcelona Striker, Nigerians Lavish Praise On Slavia Prague Star

A courageous and determined Slavia Prague side containing Nigeria international Peter Olayinka held Barcelona to a goalless draw in a Champions League clash at the Camp Nou on Tuesday evening.

Despite not getting on the scoresheet, Olayinka will be proud he held his own against Barcelona defenders Nelson Semedo, Gerard Pique, Clement Lenglet and Jordi Alba.

The Slavia Prague number nine, who played the full game, was full of running and harassed the Blaugrana defenders, something which was noted by Barcelona's Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala during the game.

The statistics back Oshoala's observation as Olayinka covered a distance of 11.31 kilometers - not a game-high figure for his team - and only two Barcelona players bettered the distance, Frenkie de Jong (12.11km) and Vidal (11.57km).
