A round-up of Nigerian players that were in action for their respective clubs in the English Premier League on Saturday, November 9th.
Nigerian players with dual nationalities and have played competitively for the senior national teams of other countries have been omitted.
We start off at Stamford Bridge where Chelsea beat Crystal Palace 2-0 in their early kick-off clash to move into second spot on the standings.
Second half goals from Tammy Abraham and Christian Pulisic proved pivotal for the Blues in recording their sixth successive Premier League win.
Fikayo Tomori started and played the entirety of the game for the hosts.
Elsewhere, Newcastle pulled off a comeback 2-1 victory over Bournemouth at the St Jame's park.
DeAndre Yedlin and Ciaran Clark led the goal party for the Magpies, overhauling Harry Wilson's early opener for the visitors.
Philip Billing was in action for the full ninety for Bournemouth while Dominic Solanke who started amongst the substitutes was thrown in for Diego Rico in the 66th minute.
Jordon Ibe was missing from the Cherries traveling party.
At the St Mary's stadium, Everton edged Southampton 2-1, thanks to strikes from Tom Davies and Richarlison.
Danny Ings scored the consolatory strike for the Saints.
Alex Iwobi came off the bench for Theo Walcott after 74 minutes to help the Toffees to the victory.
Finally, in the late kick off at the King Power, Wilfred Ndidi makes a routine start for Leicester City while his compatriot teammate Kelechi Iheanacho is not included in the Foxes match day squad.
Arsenal's Bukayo Saka starts on the bench for this one.
