Transfer Guru Who Scouted Osimhen For Four Years Open To Working With Mourinho At Tottenham
Published: November 21, 2019Lille sporting director Luis Campos could be linking up with Portuguese gaffer Jose Mourinho at Tottenham Hotspur.
Sky Sports has claimed that Campos would be open to joining Tottenham in a sporting director role to work with Jose Mourinho as he suggested last month that he would agree to speak to the former Chelsea and Manchester United manager if approached.
On Wednesday, Lille confirmed the departures of Joao Sacramento and Nuno Santos, two members of the backroom staff of Christophe Galtier, to Tottenham Hotspur.
Campos has been an influential figure in the successful recruitment of Lille in recent years, and was the head of the scouting team that recommended the signing of Victor Osimhen from Sporting Charleroi in the summer.
The 55-year-old transfer guru was on the trail of the Nigeria international for four years, having first scouted him at the 2015 U17 Africa Cup of Nations, before monitoring him at Wolfsburg.
If Campos reunites with Mourinho at Tottenham Hotspur, then it is not impossible that the North London club would make a move for Osimhen.
