Lille Danger Man Osimhen Labels Chelsea 'One Of The Best Teams In The World'
Published: November 28, 2019Lille goal poacher Victor Osimhen has acknowledged that it will be difficult for his side when they tackle Chelsea on matchday six in the UEFA Champions League, labeling the Stamford Bridge outfit 'one of the best teams in the world'.
Win or lose at Stamford Bridge on December 10, Lille have already been eliminated from this season's European competitions as they trail the third placed team in Group H of the Champions League by seven points.
Ajax beat Lille 2-0 on Wednesday night and Osimhen was disappointed with the outcome of the game, admitting that they failed to put away their chances after the Dutch champions took the lead through Ziyech in the 2nd minute.
Speaking after yesterday's game at Stade Pierre Mauroy - Villeneuve d'Ascq, Osimhen told reporters, : ''It was devastating to concede such an early goal. But we had chances, we could have led 2-1.
''I'm always positive in what I think and do, so we'll go to Chelsea to play our game.
''We are playing against one of the best teams in the world, and we know it'll be tough. But our best performance so far came against Chelsea here.''
