'Was The Stand-out Slavia Player' - Super Eagles Striker Receives Rave Review After Starring Vs Inter
Peter Olayinka was picked as the best player on the Slavia Prague team that lost 3-1 to Inter Milan in a Champions League clash at Eden Arena - Prague on Wednesday night.

The one-cap Nigeria international gave a good account of himself as Slavia Prague exited the Champions League with one game yet to be played.

The highlight of his performance was winning a penalty for the Czech Republic team, which was converted by Tomas Soucek in the 37th minute.

Former Manchester United and Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku thought he had doubled Inter's advantage ten minutes before half-time but after reviewing the situation, the referee announced that the goal was revoked due to a previously committed foul by Stefan de Vrij.

With a rating of 7 out of a possible 10 marks, Olayinka received the joint highest mark along with Tomas Soucek in the player ratings done by Sport, according to UEFA's official webpage.

On Olayinka, Sport wrote : ''He tirelessly ran, pressing the defenders and winning the ball several times. He also won the penalty and was the stand-out Slavia player yesterday."

This season, Olayinka has found the net on six occasions from 22 appearances in all competitions., including his strike vs Inter Milan on matchday one.
