Prolific Striker Balogun Makes Timely Return To Arsenal Training
Published: December 05, 2019
Arsenal have been handed a big injury boost following the return of their talented Nigerian striker Folarin Balogun.
Arsenal youth-team guru Jeorge Bird has informed that the 18-year-old has started working his way back to fitness, and has already began some ball work.
But for the injury, Balogun should have been vying for a place in the Gunners senior set-up this season as he has trained with the first team on a number of occasions and made the bench in a League Cup game versus Nottingham Forest in September.
Touted as one of the best goalscorer to emerge from the Hale End ranks due to his staggering numbers, he has been likened to first team star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang due to the similarities in their style of play.
The prolific striker has lit up the Premier League two this season, contributing to eleven goals in just nine league games for the club's U-23s before he suffered an ankle injury in a training session last month.

The initial prognosis had earlier suggested that the youngster could be ruled out until the new year, but he has made a rather quick comeback from his affliction.
