Ex-CSKA Moscow Defender Inks One-And-A-Half-Year Deal With Rotor Volgograd
According to Russian media outlet championat.com, Lionel Adams has ended speculation about his future by inking a deal with Russian National Football League club Football Club Rotor Volgograd.

The 25-year-old has put pen to paper on a one-and-a-half-year contract, keeping him at Volgograd until the end of the 2020-2021 season.

Adam's contract with the Russian second-tier club will start running when the transfer window opens for business on January 22, 2020.

A central defender by trade, he opted to return to his country of birth following the expiration of his contract with Belarusian Premier League club FC Isloch Minsk Raion.

He was born in St. Petersburg to a Nigerian father and Russian mother.

Previously, the center back turned out for DYuSSh CSKA, CSKA Moscow, Enisey, KamAZ, Banants and CCD Cerceda.

Adams has played non-binding games for Russia's U18 National Team.
