Return To Chelsea Or Staying At Fenerbahce? Moses Makes Big Statement About His Future
Published: December 25, 20192013 Africa Cup of Nations-winning winger, Victor Moses has vowed to see out the remainder of his contract with Fenerbahce amid speculations linking him with a return to parent club Chelsea in the January transfer window.
The former Nigeria international embarked on his first loan spell with a foreign club in the January transfer window after falling out of favour under ex-Blues manager Maurizio Sarri.
Despite playing for only four months for the Yellow Canaries, he ended the 2018-2019 season with his highest league goal tally in seven years with 4 goals in 14 appearances in the Turkish Super Lig.
Moses started the 2019-2020 campaign in fine form, scoring and producing an assist in the league opener against Gaziantep FK, only for him to suffer a muscle-related injury that kept him on the sidelines for two months.
After returning to the pitch in October, he suffered a relapse of his injury, ruling him out of action until January 2020.
"Injuries affected me, but I will make a real contribution to the team in the league's second half," Moses said, according to quotes carried by Fotomac.
Moses will be able to train with the rest of his teammates at the training camp before the resumption of the league.
