Confirmed : Lincoln City Loan Out Teenage Striker Eligible For USA, Nigeria & England
Published: January 01, 2020With a statement on their official website, EFL League One club Lincoln City have announced that Jordan Adebayo-Smith has joined Gainsborough Trinity on loan.
The 18-year-old will spend the remainder of the 2019-2020 campaign at the Northern Premier League Premier Division outfit.
He spent a portion of the first half of the season on loan at Boston United, for whom he made six appearances, before returning to his parent club in November.
Born in California to Nigerian parents, Adebayo-Smith is eligible to turn out for the Nigerian, American and English national teams.
The current Lincoln City Academy Player of the Year made his first team debut in a Checkatrade Trophy tie at Accrington Stanley, and his best moment in an Imps shirt was netting a hat-trick against South Shields in last season's FA Youth Cup.
Adebayo-Smith won't be available for selection when Gainsborough Trinity take on Matlock Town this afternoon at the Gainsborough Martin & Co Arena but is expected to be in the stands supporting his new teammates.
