Over Fifty Thousand Fans Watch Chelsea Loanee Moses Make Debut For Inter Milan Vs Fiorentina
Published: January 29, 2020
Former Nigeria international Victor Moses made his debut for Inter Milan on Wednesday night, six days after his transfer was confirmed by the Nerazzurri.
The right wing-back entered the pitch as a substitute as Antonio Conte's side defeated Fiorentina 2-1 at the San Siro in the Coppa Italia, coming on to replace Antonio Candreva in the 74th minute.
According to FCInterNews.it, 51,431 spectators braced the cold to watch two new signings from the English Premier League make their debuts - former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen and Chelsea loanee Moses.
Inter Milan were 1-0 up at the break thanks to Candreva's 44th minute strike, Caceres snatched an equaliser against the run of play before Barella's brilliant finish from just outside the area restored the home team's one-goal advantage.
Prior to today's fixture, Moses had been inactive since December 3 when he lasted 12 minutes on the pitch for Fenerbahce in a Turkish Cup match against Istanbulspor.
The 29-year-old will be hoping to play his first ever game in the Serie A when Inter trade tackles with William Troost-Ekong's Udinese on Sunday, February 2.
