Tottenham Hotspur Not Willing To Loan Center Back Okedina Amid Football League Interest
Allnigeriasoccer.com has been told that Nigerian central defender Jubril Okedina will be staying put at Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the January transfer window.

Okedina's camp had explored the possibility of the player going out on loan this month so he can gain valuable first team experience but the proposal was not approved by Tottenham Hotspur because he's regarded as an important member of the development squad.

He was offered to several clubs in the Football League including Charlton Athletic and Ipswich Town.

Okedina would be free to leave the north London club at the end of the 2019-2020 season if Tottenham don't trigger the one-year option on the center back.

This season, the 2000-born player has featured in the Premier League 2 and EFL Trophy, playing twelve games in total in both competitions, including ten as a starter.

Woolwich-born Okedina has committed his international future to Nigeria over his country of birth, England.
