Mourinho's Best XI He Has Coached : The Four Nigerian Stars Snubbed By Portuguese Super Coach
Portuguese super coach Jose Mourinho has unveiled the best possible starting eleven he has coached with four Nigerian stars failing to make the cut.

In a coaching career spanning two decades, Mourinho has handled União de Leiria, Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

Despite pushing for the signing of John Obi Mikel in 2006, he has omitted the former Super Eagles captain from the squad.

For the defensive midfield role, Mourinho selected ex-France World Cup star Claude Makélélé ahead of Mikel.

A decision that didn't come as a surprise was leaving out Victor Moses, who didn't play a single competitive match under Mourinho and was sent on loan to Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham while the Portuguese was in the Chelsea dugout.

Moses played in several pre-season games during Mourinho's time at Stamford Bridge and scored against PSG in an International Champions Cup clash in July 2015.

Super Eagles right-back Ola Aina, who trained several times with the Chelsea first team under the tutelage of Mourinho and was involved in pre-season games, was not handed a starting berth.

Mourinho worked with Victor Obinna at Inter Milan during the 2008-2009 season but the versatile winger didn't make the cut.

Mourinho's Ultimate XI: Petr Cech, Javier Zanetti, John Terry, Ricardo Carvalho, William Gallas, Claude Makelele, Frank Lampard, Mesut Ozil, Cristiano Ronaldo, Eden Hazard and Didier Drogba
