2013 Africa Cup of Nations Winner Leads Attack In Sochaux Best XI 2010-2020
Brown Ideye has been included in Sochaux's best eleven for the period 2010-2020, informs the official website of the French Ligue 2 club.

The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner was chosen to lead the attack in a 4-4-2 formation and was partnered by CédricBakambu.

Ideye joined Sochuax in January 2010 and scored 22 goals in 58 appearances during one and a half seasons with Les Lionceaux, before transferring to Dynamo Kiev in the summer of 2011.

He was handed a late call-up as replacement for John Obi Mikel for the 2010 World Cup after the then Chelsea midfielder suffered an injury few weeks before the start of the tournament in South Africa.

Former Nigeria internationals Rabiu Afolabi (2005-2009) and Wilson Oruma (2002-2005) were not eligible to be named to the Best XI because they played for Sochaux before 2010, while Tope Obadeyi and King Osanga have not made the cut.

Ideye  now plies his trade at Greek Super League outfit Aris and he's training on his own in Thessaloniki before the resumption of the championship.
