Coronavirus : Super Eagles Star Ndidi Distributes Gifts To Households In Lagos State
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has started distributing bags of rice, beans, garri and semolina to households in Lagos State as part of his efforts to help during the coronavirus pandemic.

As at the time of this report, there are 174 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria with nine persons discharged and two deaths.

Lagos State has been the worst hit by coronavirus in Nigeria with 91 confirmed cases and the state is currently on a lockdown put in place by the Federal and State Government to prevent the spread of the virus.

Although Ndidi is from Delta State which has no reported case, he was raised in Lagos State.

The gifts will be distributed mainly to low income earners in Lagos State whose livelihoods have been affected as a  result of the ongoing lockdown.

The initial beneficiaries are residents of Ajegunle, Eti Osa Local Government, Ikeja Barracks and street children.

This won't be a one-off gesture from Ndidi as the Nigeria international has put plans in place to deliver more gift items every week for the next three weeks.
