Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea-Linked Striker Osimhen Open To Playing For Big Club In England
Published: April 16, 2020Victor Osimhen has had a brilliant start to his career at Lille, scoring 18 goals in all competitions for the French Ligue 1 club.
His excellent performances before the league was suspended due to the coronavirus crisis have sparked speculation that the Nigeria international could be moving on to pastures new in the summer transfer window.
Osimhen has been mentioned as possible targets for five of the big six clubs in the English Premier League namely Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, while Spanish trio Real Madrid, Barcelona and Sevilla are also keeping tabs on the striker.
In an interview with the Independent UK, the former Wolfsburg starlet admitted that he would be open to playing for a big Premier League club in future.
"Of course, one day I’d like to play for a big club in England. I’ve spoken to Odion (Ighalo) about it. He gave me very good advice, he’s a legend and a big brother," said Osimhen.
"My goal is to play at one of the biggest clubs in the world but now I’m very happy in Lille.
"My priority is to play a lot of games. Signing for a big club and being on the bench is not exciting for me."

Should Osimhen move to England, work permit won't be an issue because he is expected to cost more than 23 million pounds, though he hasn't played 75 percent of national team matches over the last two years.
