Former Manchester United Winger Kehinde Open To Permanent Move To Randers
Published: April 17, 2020
Former Manchester United winger Tosin Kehinde is open to a permanent switch to Danish Superliga side Randers, according to his agent Emmanuel Adewole.
Kehinde ended his association with Manchester United in the summer of 2018 after joining Feirense and his transfer to the Portuguese setup would have been a good move if he was offered playing opportunities.
The Lagos-born youngster has found a new lease of life since joining Randers on loan and started five of their last seven matches before the Superliga was postponed due to the coronaviris crisis.
"Kehinde's preference is to stay with Randers, the two clubs are discussing to make the move permanent. There's interest from a few clubs in Belgium, Spain, Scotland and Denmark, so we'll see which is the best" said Adewole to allnigeriasoccer.com.
"He's taking his time to grow at Randers, he's learning his trade which is the most important thing.
"They love him at Randers, the coach believes in him and gives him confidence. For any young kid that is the kind of environment you want to be in."
The 21-year-old Kehinde, who is eligible for Nigeria and England, trained with the Dream Team ahead of their U23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Libya in March 2019.
