Ex-Flying Eagles Star Osuchukwu Still On The Mend, Misses Ruh Brest Vs FK Gorodeya
Published: May 02, 2020
Former Nigeria U20 international Chidi Osuchukwu is still recovering from injury and was not included in FC Ruh Brest's match day squad for their ongoing game against FK Gorodeya at the Stadyen DASK Brestski (Brest), allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
Osuchukwu has been inactive for Ruh Brest for nineteen days now after picking up an undisclosed injury in his side's goalless draw at Slavia Mozyr on matchday four which led to his substitution after 19 minutes.
The central midfielder was also unavailable for selection against Minsk and Torpedo Zhodino.
Manager Sednev will be hoping his Nigerian star will be back soon as he is one of the most important players in the Ruh Brest squad.
The 26-year-old provided an assist on his competitive debut against Dinamo Minsk on March 20 and has gone on to make a further three appearances in the league this season.
In the provisional standings, Rub Brest occupy the 12th position in the 16 team table with 8 points.
