Nigeria's Next Generation Of Talents Show The Future Looks Good
Published: May 07, 2020
Nigeria, as it were, had been known to unearth talented footballers who has gone on to make their marks on the national team, and even more importantly, on the world stage, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
From the legendary Rashidi Yekini of blessed memory, to the very enterprising Celestine Babayaro, or the bean-pole goal poacher Kanu Nwankwo and Daniel Amokachi 'The Bull', the list can go on and on, on the very brilliant players that have graced the game for the Super Eagles.
Tasked with creating history for soccer-loving Nigeria, the Super Eagles management had always tried to produce the best group, capable of doing the country proud on the international scene. And that is certainly not changing anytime soon.
The 2013 AFCON success was one of the recent ones, and leaned markedly close to what a team the nation will no doubt be yearning for yet again, with last year's bronze finish at the continental tourney giving high hopes of the system gradually getting to the expected heights.
Players in the 2013 fold like John Obi Mikel, Emmanuel Emenike, Vincent Enyeama and Joseph Yobo unarguably served their course well, and have ably seen youngsters step in to replace them — the likes of Wilfred Ndidi, Ola Aina, Samuel Chukwueze, Victor Osimhen and others.
And now the evolutionary curve is even more interesting. With the advances been made by the Nigeria Football Federation at talents like Joshua Zirkzee, Bukayo Saka, Faustino Anjorin and a host of others, it will rightly spring joy in the minds of Nigerians when they look to what the national team will be like in years to come.

Recent reports in the media confirmed yet that Liverpool-owned Ovie Ejaria is also in line to become another of the latest recruits for the West African nation, and so the fans can continue to dream.
Mounting that overdue dominance on the world stage could get to become realistic in the near future, with these calibre of players.
It could perhaps, still be early to postulate on this, but it is very much heartwarming, on the other hand. Nigeria's next generation of talents is bound to produce good tidings in time to come.
