the footballer, currently asymptomatic, was immediately placed in quarantine and will be constantly monitored.
Italian Serie A clubs have been permitted to resume training following an eight-week lockdown but no date has been fixed yet for the resumption of the season.
To protect the right to privacy as only the concerned player can reveal his state of health, Torino have refused to disclose the identity of the player who tested positive for coronavirus.

The Nigeria international appeared in 25 official matches for the Maroons in all competitions before the season was halted.
