Confirmed : Nigeria U23 International Mutually Parts Company With Wolverhampton Wanderers
Published: May 14, 2020Through a statement on their official website, English Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers have announced that they have mutually agreed to part ways with Nigeria U23 international Bright Enobakhare.
The Benin City born striker became a Wolves player in the 2014-2015 season and won the Championship with the club in the 2017-2018 campaign.
He rose through the ranks before making his professional debut against Barnet in the League Cup, scoring after three minutes in a 2-1 win in August 2015.
Overall, the 22-year-old played 49 matches in total for Wolves' first team and scored three goals.
With Wolves returning to the Premier League, Enobakhare was not guaranteed playing opportunities, so was loaned out to Kilmarnock, Coventry City and Wigan Athletic in the last few seasons.
He played two of the Dream Team VII's three group games in last November's U23 Africa Cup of Nations after committing his international future to Nigeria over England.
