No player in the English Premier League has made more interceptions than Leicester City's combative midfielder Wilfred Ndidi in the 2019-2020 season.
According to stats from Fbref, Ndidi has intercepted 65 passes in the English top-flight this term, that's two more than his closest challengers, Bournemouth duo Philip Billing and Diego Rico who have 63 each.
West Ham's Declan Rice (62) and Sheffield United's Chris Basham (58) complete the top five.
Of the aforementioned players, only Bournemouth left-back Rico has played fewer games than the Nigeria international.
Ndidi has missed six games played by Leicester City in the Premier League, no thanks to a knee injury but he has returned to full fitness ahead of the resumption of the league.
In other categories, the Leicester City number 25 is fourth in tackles with 85 and number three in tackles won with 55.
Leicester City's Ricardo Pereira leads the way in tackles and Rice is the top man in tackles won.
