QPR Duo Eze, Osayi-Samuel Set To Show Off Their Skills To Frank Lampard, Chelsea
Published: June 07, 2020
Queens Park Rangers' Nigerian stars Eberechi Eze and Bright Osayi-Samuel are in contention to put themselves in the shop window when their Championship club face Premier League giants Chelsea in a friendly ahead of the restart of their respective leagues.
Football. London says Chelsea are expected to face Queens Park Rangers in a behind closed doors friendly as both clubs ramp up their preparations for a return to action in a fortnight from now, without confirming the proposed date of the game.
Eze and Osayi-Samuel are generating transfer interest from Premier League clubs ahead of the opening of the summer transfer window following their exploits at Queens Park Rangers this season.
While Eze has been involved in 20 goals (12 goals, 8 assists) in 37 league games, winger Osayi-Samuel has contributed to 13 goals (5 goals, 8 assists) from 29 appearances in the division.
Tottenham Hotspur are thought to be in the driving seat to sign the Queens Park Rangers number 10, while Osayi-Samuel is on the radar of Manchester United, Arsenal,
West Ham, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Everton.
There were rumours linking Eze with Chelsea in the January transfer window, and it would not be surprising if the Blues revive their interest in the playmaker should he perform excellently in the friendly with manager Frank Lampard expected to be in attendance.
Eze and Osayi-Samuel have roughly one year to run on their contracts with Queens Park Rangers.
