'Ighalo Has Done His Job When He's Been Used' - EPL Pundit Impressed With Man Utd Striker
Published: July 01, 2020
English Premier League pundit Ian Darke has been left impressed by the performances of Odion Ighalo since he moved to Manchester United though he admitted that the club were initially criticized for signing the Nigerian.
Manchester United performed excellently to extend their unbeaten run to fifteen matches in all competitions, including eight in the Premier League, after a 3-0 rout of Brighton & Hove at the AMEX Stadium on Tuesday night, with the former Super Eagles star entering the pitch as a substitute in the 78th minute.
Darke has pointed to the fact that Ighalo has scored in all the matches he has started for the Red Devils.
Speaking during commentary on the Premier League world feed, Darke stated : "Ighalo has scored every time he started for Manchester United so far in Cup matches, yet to get off the mark in the Premier League.
"His loan from his Chinese club goes on until January after the deal struck during the suspension of the league.
"Everybody really criticized Manchester United for making that signing but he has done his job when he has been used."

Ighalo has had a hand in six of Manchester United's goals since making his debut against Chelsea on February 17.
